J. P. MENESES

Journalist and non-fiction writer. He was born in Santiago de Chile, and currently lives in New York, United States. He is the author of eight non-fiction books, his work has been published in more than 20 countries and has been translated into seven different languages.

Stanford University chose him as JSKnight Fellow. The New York Univeristy (NYU) distinguished him as Visiting Scholar. He studied journalism at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

In Buenos Aires, he founded the independent School of Journalism Project. In Guadalajara he created the "Nuevas Plumas" Award for the new journalists. In Silicon Valley he designed the PortableJournalism platform.
